Life for me is enjoying the moments.
My family, walking the dog, playing sports to music,
a cup of hot tea, a catchy costume drama and a good night's sleep, that's how I color my moments!
As a young girl I felt inhibited to be how I felt and tried to express myself in that. I saw the world in different colors and lines. At home I could express that in drawing and outwardly I dressed up as a certain character at random times. This gave me peace and pleasure.
Looking back on then, searching for myself, I understand my desire for expression more.
The work I make allows me to return to that part that is pure and uninhibited. I make contact with my characters and with an open feeling I explore that part and shape it.
For me, drawing is an encounter with the many threads of my life.
